Brand redesign increases sales by 20%

Lees of Scotland, one of the UK’s leading independent confectionery manufacturers, has  experienced a 20% increase in sales of its Snowball and Teacakes since new look packaging  was launched in February.

As well as proving a firm hit with consumers, the new packaging has helped in securing increased distribution across the UK with three of the top multiple retailers, in addition to their strong position in all major stores across Scotland.

Clive Miquel managing director of Lees of Scotland, says, “The increase in popularity of Lees Snowballs and Teacakes since the introduction of the new packaging has surpassed expectations. It’s a good situation to be in at the moment, from a production perspective it is a challenge to satisfy demand.”

The redesign of the Snowballs and Teacakes packaging was the first for the iconic brand for over five years resulting in a clean and modern new look for their best selling products.
