New listings promote sales

Popcorn brand Joe & Seph’s will reach 100 million new customers through a series of new listings with Cineworld, easyJet, Thomson Airways and World Duty Free.

These new listings will enable Joe & Seph’s to grow its business and significantly expand its distribution network, reaching millions of new audiences in the UK and beyond.

Renowned for its range of 41 innovative flavours, Joe & Seph’s has been introduced by Cineworld to provide an exciting addition to its traditional sweet and salty popcorn. The brand will launch with a selection of nine flavours across its cinema estate.

Joe & Seph’s will similarly bolster the premium offering with easyJet. The gourmet popcorn will now be available alongside the likes of Nakd bars and Synder’s pretzels with its Caramel & Sea Salt flavour, sold in a specially designed box that delivers the product to easyJet’s 60 million customers with the minimum of mess.
Joe & Seph’s is also available for jet setters through Thomson Airways with a 35g Salted Caramel snack pack and will reach international consumers with the launch into World Duty Free. Customers can now purchase the gourmet popcorn on-board their flight and when they land, with 10 of the signature flavours available at Heathrow’s Terminal 5.

Joseph Sopher, founder of Joe & Seph’s, says: “We’re delighted to be working with these four great businesses. Together they will significantly expand our distribution network, enabling us to reach their 100 million plus customers.”

“More and more consumers in Britain are choosing a premium option when snacking and our popcorn will allow these organisations to give their customers a truly gourmet experience.”

Joe & Seph’s was founded in 2010 by Joseph Sopher, a retired businessman and the brand’s namesake, who launched the family business with his wife Jackie and their eldest son, Adam, after inventing this unique popcorn in his own kitchen.

Designed for taste adventurers and food lovers, each of Joe & Seph’s eclectic 41flavours are handmade by chefs, using only all natural ingredients and extra- large corn pieces to produce Britain’s best-tasting popcorn. And every kernel is air-popped for a healthier alternative to frying, resulting in better texture and taste.

This completely revolutionary approach to popcorn eating has won Joe & Seph’s plaudits from experts in the food and drink industry, including Michelin Star Chefs Marcus Eaves, Peter & Jonray Sanchez as well as 2013’s Great British Bake Off Winner, Frances Quinn.

Along with achieving an incredible 15 Gold Great Taste Awards, the gourmet brand is used by key names in the hospitality industry from Claridges, to The Soho Hotel, as well as the Picturehouse Cinema group.

In the UK, Joe & Seph’s is available at Ocado, Selfridges, Harrods, Whole Foods, Harvey Nichols, firebox.com and lots of good independent stores. The range is available in 80g-90g pouches, gift sets and small grab and go packs.
