Ferrero reveals Christmas plans

This Christmas sees Ferrero launch a number of seasonal products.

It will unveil a T48 Kinder Surprise winter pack which will be available in the convenience channel to deliver stand out and seasonal relevance on shelf. Ferrero urges retailers to get behind the seasonal exclusive with its attractive counter top unit from the game changing brand, which is now worth almost £93 million.

Kinder Chocolate Happy will also join the seasonal line up as a special sharing option, this will include a sharing bag of 12 individually foil wrapped Kinder chocolates in seasonal shapes.

As well as this, a new bigger version of Ferrero Grand Rocher will be available taking the figures and shapes category to another level and helping retailers capitalise on the growing trend of premium gifting.

Levi Boorer, customer development director, Ferrero UK & Ireland, explains, “Christmas is a vitally important season for retailers. Ferrero grew at 24.5% last Christmas adding £12.6 million to the category last Christmas and we’ll be ramping up our seasonal offering this year with a raft of new seasonal products and a £3.6 million marketing investment across our pralines portfolio.”
