Cadbury Creme Egg returns to TV screens

Mondelēz International-owned chocolate brand Cadbury Creme Egg is set to return to TV screens across the UK with a new creative campaign – its first in four years.

The advert aims to bring the Cadbury Creme Egg Hunting Season to life, depicting that time of year when, for three months only, the sweet treats are available. The ad takes a fun foray into the world of Cadbury Creme Egg Hunting, following Creme Egg super fan and self-proclaimed head hunter, Gregg, as he kicks off the beginning of a new season.

The campaign will see a £4 million investment from the brand which will span across TV, social, experiential and PR. This is part of a wider £10m investment from Cadbury across the 2017 Easter season.

It also marks the start of Cadbury Creme Egg’s Gooless promotion for 2017, which is exclusive to the convenience market. Running until Easter Sunday, one consumer every day will open a gooless Creme Egg and win up to £1,000. The prize will then be matched for the relevant retailer with either stock vouchers or Love2Shop vouchers.

The 30 second TV advert will premiere today (4 January), marking the start of the Cadbury Creme Egg Hunting Season.
